Frequently asked questions
Coast Pilates operates on a membership basis, with members paying for classes, monthly in advance on a rolling 12-month schedule.
Over the course of a year, members attending one class per week will be invoiced for 48 sessions (four per month), regardless of the number of weeks in a particular month. This means there will be four weeks without regular classes, two weeks in August and two weeks over the Christmas period.
Bundles are paid for when buying online. For details on class pricing, please refer to our Prices Page.
Minimum commitment. All memberships require a minimum sign-up of 3 months, which auto-renews unless you cancel with 30 days’ notice. Rolling monthly basis - membership fees will be automatically charged monthly starting from the initial sign-up date.
Regular attendance is key to getting the most from your Pilates practice, so your classes are pre-booked for the class of your choice.
At the beginning of your booking cycle, you will be allocated 48 sessions, to be used at the rate of one per week.
At the end of your twelve months cycle any unused classes will be cancelled.
Not used sessions will not be carried forward to the next year.
When you join Coast Pilates, you will be pre-booked into the class of your choice, which will remain reserved for you as long as your membership is active.
If you need to reschedule a class, you can do so via the LegitFit / Coast Pilates Online Booking System on your laptop or smartphone. Once your membership is active, you will receive a link to the system, allowing you to manage bookings and check class availability. For ease of use, we recommend downloading the LegitFit App on your smartphone. Most members say that LegitFit works better on a laptop or tablet.
If you cannot attend a class, please cancel at least 12 hours in advance to free up the space for another member. When you cancel a class, you will receive a session credit that can be used to book a make-up class.
Credits will not be issued for no show absence.
While we will always do our best to accommodate scheduling changes, we cannot guarantee availability in your preferred time slot, as class sizes and schedules are limited.
No refunds will be issued if a suitable class is not available.
If you experience any difficulties accessing the Online Booking System, please contact Daan Coetzee at 07703 687 707 for assistance.
