FINDING A ROUTINE WHICH IS RIGHT FOR YOU
Spend Some Time With Us
For those new to Pilates, we recommend you start with a private introductory session and assessment, so that we can understand your body’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as your own goals. Once you are ready, we will slot you into a 55-minute class or suggest a series of private, or semi-private sessions which will be tailored to your needs.
If you already have some experience of Pilates and no serious medical conditions, we may suggest your initial assessment takes place in one of our regular classes.
“You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions.”

MAT CLASSES
Usually the best way to master the basic principles of Pilates, these involve working in a small, friendly group of no more than eight clients. Classes are graded from beginners to advanced and during your introductory session, we will help you choose the right level.
SPRINGBOARD CLASSES
For those with a good knowledge of the principles of Pilates and wanting a more invigorating and strenuous workout, we run classes using wall-mounted Springboard machines. The various settings provide resistance which require the body to work harder and so build strength, balance and stamina.
PILATES FOR MEN
We welcome men at all our classes, but we also run a men-only class on a Saturday morning.
REFORMER SESSIONS
Some clients prefer to practise Pilates in private under the supervision of a qualified instructor. This includes the use of the Reformer, a piece of equipment developed by Joseph Pilates to increase movement and provide rehabilitation for the injured. Today the Reformer is also used to provide a more challenging version of the mat-work exercises.
